About
First getting attention as a custom bike builder, Jesse stood apart from other builders because of his attention to detail, his blending of old and new, and his overall design aesthetic. Customers from all over the world come to The GasBox for his very special eye and for a one of a kind build. The Gasbox has been featured in just about every major motorcycle publication - print and online - Easyriders, Dice, Greasy Culture, The Horse, Bike Exif, Silodrome, The Ride coffee table book and many more.
Because of this attention to detail, Jesse started creating his own parts for his builds which included simple parts that just had better “fit and finish” than others on the market- to hard to find/source OEM parts as needed.
In 2012 The Gasbox moves into a restored fire station in North Olmsted Ohio. Building up to 10 custom bikes a year the shop was extremely busy and often packed full.
In 2014 The Gasbox moves into a 8,000 square foot warehouse in Cleveland Ohio. Continuing to build and restore bikes for clients, Jesse focus' on expanding the product line.
In 2017, Jesse acquired the Dennis Corso Company - makers of reproduction, vintage OEM mufflers and exhausts for more than 25 years. This acquisition allowed The Gasbox to expand deeper into manufacturing and begin making custom exhaust systems along with the legacy products that Corso company was already making. The Gasbox is continuing the legacy of 'built in the USA' quality products that everyone from garage hobbyists to professional restorers have counted on for over 40 years.
In 2019 Gasbox launches its first complete frame. The frame was fresh to the industry offering a complete package for the home builder without the need for welding or an experienced fabricator.
In 2022 Jesse acquires a 12,000 square foot manufacturing facility from a defunct plastic injection mold company on Cleveland's east side. Jesse spends the next year rehabbing the facility, and The Gasbox moves in and is 100% operational in February of 2024.
